General Position Summary:

Integral in assisting with proper procedures and implementation of processes associated with the Metals Recycling Business (MRB) export container activities. Position requires mastery of container freight functions including: timely bookings; proper issuance of Bills of Lading; timely payment of freight; release of Bills of Lading and tracking of ETA disport to ensure proper funds are collected per payment terms. Incumbent will learn all aspects of the logistics department and must comprehend the importance of timely actions and the role of logistics in the sales environments. The Incumbent is also responsible for understanding demurrage and detention costs related to export containers.

Qualifications:

1) High School Education or Equivalent
2) 5 to 7 Years prior experience with container logistics.
3) Detail oriented, good with numbers and text, able to proof read work to avoid simple typographical errors.
4) Excellent organizational skills.
5) Ability to learn quickly, disseminate information timely and accurately and to work under pressure.
6) Fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
7) Heavy exposure to documentation is required.

Desirable Skills:

1) Bi-Lingual in Chinese.
2) Prior experience with CCIC inspections.
3) Prior experience with Letters of Credit.
